Transition to College - Complete

The Transition to College: Perspectives of Secondary School Students study focuses on identifying secondary school students’ perceptions of college and the factors which influence students’ postsecondary educational planning. Drs. Alan King and Wendy Warren of the Social Programs Evaluation Group at Queen’s University were engaged as principal investigators. Their survey, conducted during the 2005-06 academic year and involving students from 73 high schools across the province, explored academic achievement, educational plans, views on a college education, and factors influencing these views.
